Menstrual Health 101
How to advocate at the doctor’s office
Come prepared with a symptom journal. Use "I" statements (e.g., "I feel sharp pain here"). Ask questions like, "What are the next steps?" or "Can we explore other possibilities?" Remember, you are the expert on your body. Don't be afraid to get a second opinion.

Signs you might have endometriosis
Beyond "killer cramps," signs can include chronic pelvic pain, painful sex, heavy bleeding, bloating ("endo belly"), and infertility. If your period pain consistently disrupts your life, it's time to talk to a specialist.

Understanding PCOS
Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) is a hormonal disorder common among women of reproductive age. Symptoms can include irregular periods, excess androgen (male hormone) levels, and cysts on the ovaries. It's a leading cause of infertility but can be managed with lifestyle changes and medical support.

Tampons vs. Pads vs. Cups
It's all about personal preference! Pads are external and easy to use. Tampons are internal and great for activities like swimming. Menstrual cups are also internal, reusable (eco-friendly!), and can be worn for up to 12 hours. The best choice is the one that feels most comfortable and works for your lifestyle.
